1Agreement to Terms & Eligibility

Welcome to PhuketLocal Travel ("PhuketLocal", "we", "us"). By browsing our website or booking any tour, activity, or boat transfer through PhuketLocal.com, you ("Guest", "Traveler") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please also review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal data.

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking through PhuketLocal. Travelers under 18 must have a booking made on their behalf by a parent or legal guardian.
• Zero Hidden Fees: All tour prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿ / THB) and represent direct local operator rates with zero middleman markups.
• Reserve Now & Pay Later: Select experiences allow you to reserve your spot without an upfront deposit. Total payment details will be arranged prior to departure.

224-Hour Free Cancellation Policy

We offer a transparent 24-Hour Cancellation Guarantee:

• 24 Hours Prior (100% Refund): You may cancel any standard reservation up to 24 hours before the tour start time (local Phuket time) for a 100% full refund with zero cancellation penalty.
• Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure or guest no-shows may be non-refundable due to seat allocations and operator preparation costs.

3Bad Weather & Marine Directives

Our tour operators and local maritime authorities assess weather and sea swell conditions every morning:

• Official Weather Cancellation: If a marine tour cannot operate due to unsafe sea conditions or official weather warnings, guests will be offered a 100% full refund or a free date reschedule.
• Operating Tours: Please note that if a tour is cleared and deemed safe to operate by authorities and the operator, but a guest refuses to attend, we cannot issue a refund.

4Speedboat & Catamaran Health & Safety Restrictions

For your safety and in accordance with Thai Marine Police regulations, the following persons MUST contact us before making a booking:

• Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy).
• Infants under 2 years old and seniors over 70 years old.
• Persons with back, spinal, or bone diseases, or severe heart conditions.
• Persons recovering from recent surgery or requiring walking support / wheelchair access.

Important: If the tour operator refuses boarding on the tour date due to unannounced medical or safety conditions, we cannot issue a refund.

5Complaints, Service Quality & Itinerary Alterations

• Immediate Assistance: We encourage you to contact us immediately on WhatsApp or email if any issue arises during your tour. We can usually resolve concerns with our local partner on the spot.
• Complaint Investigation: We thoroughly investigate all feedback with our operating partners to continuously improve service quality.
• Itinerary Alterations: We cannot issue full refunds based solely on subjective dissatisfaction or minor itinerary alterations caused by tide levels, weather, or safety factors beyond operator control.

6Liability Disclaimer & Independent Suppliers

The third-party suppliers and local activity operators providing services on this website are independent contractors and licensed local entities, not direct employees of PhuketLocal Travel:

• Supplier Responsibility: Operating partners maintain required insurance and are liable for their products and services in accordance with applicable Thai laws and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) licensing.
• Limitation of Agency Liability: As a booking venue and agency, PhuketLocal Travel is not liable for acts, omissions, personal injuries, property damage, or delays caused by third-party suppliers, weather, or force majeure events beyond direct control.

7Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
